In this article, we will go through three teams namely iSg.KTHXBAI, iSg.MY Evo and Nothing to Lose
iSG.KTHXBAI
Manager : iSg. KTB ashdragon
Top : iSg. KTB Demon
Jungle : iSg. KTB Ribena
Mid : iSg. KTB Xare
Marksman : iSg. KTB Mashiro
Support : iSg. KTB Fappy
Support : iSg. KTB Fappy
Substitute
iSg. KTB Stance
iSg.KTHXBAI is a veteran in the Malaysian League of Legends scene. They dominated most of the games in the previous season: dropping only 2 games (Kuala Lumpur Hunters & SpongeBobSwagPants) throughout the entire series.
They were also the team that pulled off an upset against the Singaporean Giants – Singapore Sentinels in the playoffs. They were placed 1st Runner Up in TLC Series and 2nd Runner Up for the Final Playoffs.
iSg.KTHXBAI is a team filled with talented players, who are gifted with superior mechanics as opposed to their counterparts.
The team is led by Xare, the mid laner who works hand-in-hand with his twin brother Ribena (who recently shifted to the jungle) and is a duo that is worth looking forward to.
In the top lane, Demon is decent and consistent as he won his lane in the past 5 games in group A. Ribena recommended him after observing his play style in solo queue.
In the bot lane, Mashiro – known to be rather annoying and noisy in solo queue, plays well when he is serious, and frankly, it may be also due to the fact that there’s someone behind him just waiting to take the chance to make his stance.
Stance, a Marksman from Korea awaits his turn to take a leap and show his Korean-Potential, Koreans being the people that the world perceives as outstanding in the world of e-sports.
Behind the marksman, the support player known as Fappy is someone highly talked about by Ribena before he shifted into the jungle.
Of course, behind the scenes, ashdragon would be the one who ensures that everything goes well. With so many young players in the team, ashdragon would be the “OLD” one who would help manage and lead the team when it comes to matters outside the game.
The problem teams will face against iSg.KTHXBAI is that it is almost impossible to predict what they will actually bring to the table.
They’ve played a total of 21 different champions in the past 5 games which simply make them unpredictable and scary.
Definitely a team to watch out for!
iSG.MY
Top : iSg. My Gon
Jungle : iSg. My Bunny
Mid : iSg. My Rounder
Marksman : iSg. My Lunar
Support : iSg. My Crow
iSg.MY Evo is another team sponsored by Insidious Gaming in Malaysia other than the recent iSg.KTHXBAI.
Being in the same family with KTHXBAI, Evo would definitely be considered as the weaker team among both iSg teams.
However, how true is that when these two teams have not faced each other in battle yet?
Leading the team is Lunar, the marksman for iSg.MY who boasts having the highest CS in most of the games played during the qualifiers (298 CS in 38 minutes).
His right-hand man, Crow (better known as “Worst Blitz SEA”) plays a very aggressive style of support where he is never afraid to make plays and rush straight into the midst of battle with champions like Alistar and even Jarvan IV.
This might just form one of the most aggressive bot lane duos for the season.
Gon resides in the top lane with snowbally champions such as Aatrox and Darius who can stomp lanes hard when given the chance and at the Mid lane, we have Rounder who plays assassins such as Yasuo and the rarely seen Wukong.
The one who controls the pace, Bunny, resides in the jungle with versatile junglers such as Vi.
However, when required, Bunny is able to play assassin junglers like Kha’Zix despite not doing too well in their game against FCGT.
iSg.My may end up being one of the most aggressive team in this TLC as every one of them likes to fight.
It is of the utmost importance to prepare your minds for an extensive bloodbath if you are watching them play.
Definitely a treat for the viewers and supporters!
NOTHING TO LOSE
Manager : Support
Top : Jarlax
Jungle : Gloria
Mid : Poro Vu
Marksman : Poromancer
Support : Camouuu
Substitute
TeddyTibbers
Nothing to Lose is one of the veterans of the scene: being in the scene since the beginning of Season 3.
Nothing to Lose ended on a relatively high note, clinching the 3rd place of the TLC Circuit.
However, with 2 of their main members leaving for Kuala Lumpur Hunters, things seemed to be stunted a little as they only managed a 2-3 for the TLC qualifiers this season.
Gloria is arguably the only member of NtL who remains in the main roster after season 3. However, he is now being shifted to the role he used to play long time ago, the jungler.
Gloria used to play as a jungler long time ago and is hailed to be one of the better ones. However, after being on a hiatus for such a long period of time, how would he fare?
Coming over to hold the mid lane would be Poro Vu, who will have a huge boot to fill. As Poro Vu (Deja Vu) was never actually seen as a mid lane player, his potential remains a mystery.
Jarlax is now at the top lane as Paradox Gaming had disbanded. Being a veteran top lane player, the only thing that can be mentioned would be consistency.
At the bot lane, we have Poromancer and Camouuu (PoroMou) which is perhaps the lane NtL is most comfortable with at the moment as Poromancer is one of the best marksmen in Malaysia.
Definitely, the men behind the scene – Teddytibbers and Support are the pillars of success for NtL.
With the deep understanding of the game in both TeddyTibbers and Support, the strength of NtL is always in the teamwork and play calling.
Despite Nothing to Lose being a relatively new team after numerous players switching and leaving for other teams, Nothing to Lose have a very firm and strong structure in understanding the game.
In fact, the team's final roster was only finalised on Thursday, 2 days before the actual day of competition.
Many would write them off when they look into their abysmal TLC Qualifying Results, but now that they are at this state:-
There is simply ‘Nothing to Lose’
